Day 3 - 4: Amritsar
Amritsar
Enjoy Amritsar, the "Pool of Nectar", is named after the sacred pool in the Golden Temple. Visits to the Harmandir Gurdwara (Golden Temple), Wagah Border and experience the India/Pakistan border closing ceremony.

Day 5 - 8: Jaipur
Jaipur
Jaipur is an essential stop in Rajasthan. The city is known as the pink city as it was painted red to welcome England's Prince Alfred in 1853. Here we will see many local palaces, gardens, and monuments. This is also where we will partaking in the Holi Festival. Holi marks the end of winter and the beginning of spring and it has its beginnings with Lord Krishna.

Day 9: Agra
Agra
Agra is renowned the world over for the fabulous Taj Mahal. While in Agra we will visit the Agra Fort and Taj Mahal.

Day 10: Khajuraho
Khajuraho
Khajuraho oozes with passion, eroticism, dance and music, and other finesses of creative arts depicted in sculpture and images of the temples. At one point 85 temples were built in 'Nagara' style, though only 22 have survived. We visit the many palaces and temples around the city.

Day 11 - 12: Varanasi
Varanasi
Varanasi is situated on the bank of the Ganges river and is one of the holiest and oldest cities in the world. It is considered to be the epicenter of Hinduism and India. We will partake in an Aarti (prayer) ceremony along the Ganges including a boat ride to see the Ghats offer prayers and flow diyas (oil lamps) on the river.

Day 12: Back to New Delhi for Flight Home

In the afternoon, you will catch a flight back to New Delhi where you will have day use of a hotel room until your return trip home.
