Sawasdee…Welcome to our Land of Smiles! Well known as the City of Angels, Krungthepmahanakorn (Bangkok) is the present capital city and the focal point for Thailand. It was made the capital of Thailand in 1782, the first monarch of the present Chakri Dynasty. It is a vibrant city, a national treasure house and Thailand’s spiritual, cultural, political, commercial, educational and diplomatic enter with endless choice of sightseeing and entertainment opportunities. In addition to the many temples and historic buildings, such as The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, the list of interesting places to visit is endless. There are numerous canal (klong) networks, the Chaophraya River, giving it the name of “Venice of the East”. In Bangkok, are also bustling markets, Jim Thompson’s House, Chatuchak Weekend Market, Wat Po, Wat Benjamorpit and Mahboonkrong Shopping Centre. Bangkok has a wide variety of accommodation options and at various locations. Food and entertainment opportunities in Bangkok are endless with excellent choice of eating options, from international style restaurants to roadside stalls almost 24 hours a day. Bangkok is home to many excellent Spa facilities, both in large hotels and privately run.

Kanchanaburi

Visit to the War Museum, Cemetery of the Allied Prisoners of World War II and followed by a visit of the World famous bridge over the River Kwai. Then take a long-tailed boat to the resort, passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery. Check in on arrival and followed by lunch. Take an exciting boat ride downstream to Resotel pier and continue to visit the Hell Fire Pass Memorial. Dinner and a 40 minute presentation of traditional "Mon" dances by the villagers.

The northernmost province of Thailand, Chiang Rai is situated on the Kok River basin 1,387 feet meters above sea level. It is about 490 miles from Bangkok, mostly mountainous, reaching the Mae Khong River to the north and borders on both Myanmar and Laos. The province is rich in tourism resources in terms of natural attractions and antiquities and evidence of its past civilization. It is also home to several hilltribes who follow fascinating ways of life. Chiang Rai is also a tourism gateway into Myanmar and Laos.

Chiang Mai

The city of Chiang Mai has many beautiful and historic Buddhist temples and this afternoon excursion will take you in one of the best; 600 year-old Wat Pra That Doi Suthep. This is the landmark of the city located near the summit of Doi Suthep. After a drive up the mountain’s winding road, the final climb to the site is via a magnificent Naga (dragon-headed serpent) staircase of 306 steps. Inside is an intriguing copper-plated chedi topped by a five-tier gold umbrella which contains partial relics of Lord Buddha. On a clear day, there are panoramic views out over the city of Chiang Mai.

Phuket is also a central point from which travelers may discover alternative but equally exciting destinations. Phuket has a major International airport, hotels of all categories, excellent infrastructure, established international standard restaurants, small local eateries, shopping centers, excellent nightlife, marina, movie cinema and a wide choice of recreation activities.
